I'd love to see a playlist!
Well, I had written down some notes from the week I had spent up north and Bill Richardson had filled in for Jurgen Goth (sp), and wanted to download the following:
Violin Concerto #2 in E Major, Bach
Piano Concerto #2, Chopin
Handel's Water Music
Lilac Wine, Wild is the Wind (which turned out to be Nina Simone, who knew?)
Vivaldi, Concerto Alla Rustica (which turned out to be in the Four Seasons)
Sleeping Beauty
Haydn, "Sun Quartets"
But wow is it hard to download. You don't know which recordings are the best, should you buy the whole album vs. just one track (which is what I did because it was just easier than trying to figure out exactly which piece of music I had heard). Hence the internet coma.
Whew!
If you have any other suggestions, please send them along! I've found that listening to classical music while writing is really quite lovely.
